Processing or mineral processing often relies on the formation of foam to separate the mineral rich gangue. During treatment, chemicals and air are mixed. The rich minerals mix with the air in the form of bubbles and head to the top of a flotation cell while the sand and clays sink to the bottom to form residues. This double pump housing or foam shell is part of a kind of vertical slurry pump. It does not require shaft seals.
Application of the vertical foam pump
Jacketed foam pump is an ideal product for the transportation of sludge, with a lot of foam, particularly the sludge in the flotation process. The ability to transport our vertical foam pump is much better than other products. It does not require shaft seals or sealing water.
